S/Y Mikhail S Vorontsov is a 53 meter classic wooden 3 mast schooner designed for luxury and comfortable cruising. The yachts' prime helm position is located on the aft deck (owner's area). However when privacy is preferred, the vessel can be fully helmed from the forward crew deck house, where a navigation and communication center is situated. All sails (eight in total) are roller furled and operated through a hydraulic semi automatic sail handling system which facilitates the easy handling of the 1450 m2 sail area.
The naval architecture involvement of Dykstra Naval Architects includes the following aspects: • Construction plan • Deck plan • Exterior styling • Sail plan • Classification and regulation
Interior Design is done by Ken Freivokh design. The yacht spacious main deck provides the owner and guests the privacy of their own deck saloon and sitting/ lounge areas. In the main deck saloon there will be a comfortable dining area, lounge area and spacious bar. Below deck, aft of the engine room, there will be space for 10 guests in 5 cabins, including the owners' stateroom with sauna and gym. Forward of the engine room there will be a spacious crew quarters for 10.
