Inspired by the owner's love for the Gloucester Schooners, "Meteor" is a traditional Schooner for the experienced sailor and marine entrepreneur designed and built to the latest yachting standards. Comfortable and performance orientated. Her design was based on the Dykstra Naval Architects designed "Borkumriff IV", also built at Royal Huisman Shipyard. "Meteor" has a traditional Schooner rig but constructed from carbon fiber to enhance her sailing performance. She can be found on the St Barths Bucket entry list practically every year.
Interior design by John Munford. Classic interior joinery in "Swietenia" mahogany. Deckhouse in classic raised teak panels. The center piece of her interior is the fireplace in the salon.
Meteor won 3 awards at the World Superyacht Awards in 2008.
